[INTERVIEWS]
Interview with Erwin (BludGawd)
Typical, boring intro question. Give a brief
background on LDOH. Who's who and what do they do?
Typical? Well at the moment our line-up is (dis) like , Erwin-vocals(?),
Erwin (me) da menace- bass, William-all guitars, Marc-drums. This time we
hope to keep this line-up going' for some time 'cause we really like it
as it is at this moment . It's really fucked-up changing members every 5
minutes .
I was looking at the booklets
from "Hymns..." and "Sounds..." and noticed some line
up changes. Hans (vox), Anne (guitar) and Glenn (drums) were on "Sounds..."
but were replaced by Mark (drums) and Bart (vox) on "Hymns..."
Is this still the current line up? Was the change mutual?
I think I just answered this question (ha.. ha .. ho , I'm really
fast in this shit!). No not every line-up change was mutual , if I remember
non were, except with the 2 "suppository" members, but we're still
friends (I guess), so who cares!
Are you pleased with the
current line up?
Hell yes, wait for our split mcd with Stoma and you'll know what I mean
(fuck , I did not know that I could type this well after the 20 gallons
of beer I consumed (and exhumed) at our rehearsal 20 min. ago.
Since "Hymns..."
has been released how many copies do you think you've sold? Any ideas?
I think we (eeuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhh bones brigade!) sold about 2500/3000
from "hymns of..." and about 4000/4500 from "sounds of..."
at the moment (I could be wrong, should ask him (Bones Brigade) I guess).
Are you guys working on any
new material? If so will it be for a disc or?
At the moment we are working our hermaphrodite indi's off for our
3rd cd on Bones Brigade and we've got some other stuff goin' on like a split
cd with Sanity's Dawn, a split mcd with Stoma, a split cd with Neuro Visceral
Excremation and tons of comp. Cd's so we're 4 very busy pussy suckers!
When you do get around to
releasing another disc will it be with Bones Brigade again?
Yep!!!!!
What bands have inspired
LDOH on your trail for putrid goregrind?
G.i.s.m. , Razor , Dead Infection , Carcass , Napalm Dead (except for
their political bullshit) , General Surgery , Repulsion , Overkill and whatshowever
(?). We just play what we like, we really don't give a fuck what other bands
play or think .
On the same note, what are
some bands you've been listening to lately? Any new shit from the Netherlands
we may not know in the US?
Yes you should listen to Hippie Blood Bastards and Stoma they will rule
this drugged-up nation some day (after we smoked/sniffed/drank all the dope
that's on the market these days)
What's the metal scene like
in the Netherlands? Are there many clubs or places for you to go out and
play live?
It's getting better at the moment, but it's not really that big. We
prefer to play in Belgium or Germany or maybe in the U.S. (just get us there)
. We've got a much better response outside of Holland.
Any tour plans in the future
for LDOH? Maybe stepping foot on US soil?
No tour plans , I wish we had (we are to fuckin' lazy to arrange something
ourselves) I hope someone can arrange a few dates in the U.S. just let this
cunt (Erwin) know. It would be great to meat all the people i write with
from the U.S. but who knows , maybe someday!
Is LDOH the only project
the band members are involved with? If not, what other projects are you
guys in?
At the moment we don't have the time to do any side-projects , but when
we do I'll let you know.
What does the future hold
for LDOH?
A hole and a coffin. (hi...hi...hi!)
Well, thanks for taking the
time to answer these monotonous questions.
Thanx to you , and a bunch of notorious killings , hope the cunt's
dead! yours Erwin da stinking menace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A million of thank u's for this great interview and interest.
